Diaphragm seals are used in applications where it is difficult to measure the medium, serving to protect pressure gauges by allowing the diaphragm to come into contact with the medium instead of the measuring instrument. For the implementation of demanding customer applications, various designs, materials, and system filling liquids are available. This product is particularly suitable for use in the food industry and dairy processing. It can withstand the cleaning steam temperatures generated during SIP processes and ensures an aseptic connection between the measuring medium and the diaphragm seal. The installation of diaphragm seals to measuring instruments can be done not only through direct mounting but also, in high-temperature cases, by using siphons or through flexible capillaries.
